2. i know very intimately of a case where lavell handled an honor code infraction internally. this was back in the 90s when i had ties to many members of the team. player got gf pregnant. lavell found out. they got married and he was allowed to stay on the team. they are still married to this day and are very strong in the church. it very well could have been a lifelong disaster if this player got kicked out of school.
