I've been there several times and I think it is fascinating each time I go.

A Riverwalk tour on a boat is worthwhile once. If you have a good guide, there is quite a bit of information shared and it's generally a really beautiful tour.

There are some decent places to eat around the Riverwalk, but none that come to mind as exceptional.
