...all conferences have slightly different rules for distributing conference "shared" revenues.
Some share equally, and others (like the Pac Ten and Big XII) give more money to the bigger fish in the conference who generate most of the interest and/or TV ratings.

What I'm referring to in terms of calculating revenue in the budget is at the school level, not the conference distribution level.
