I mentioned that below. Because of unequal revenue sharing, TCU being a leach may not be as big of a deal. TCU doesn't need as much money from the conference to operate because of other sources of funds. However, they still would likely take more from the conference pool than they add making them a leach. Their other sources of revenue don't have anything to do with how much they would take from the conference.

In reality, besides this last year where TCU went to a BCS game, it is likely that every team in the Mountain West Conference except BYU and Utah takes more from conference revenue sharing than they add. Some of TCUs revenue is from BYU and Utah subsidizing them through conference revenue sharing.
