great stories and I'm really glad you got those tapes of your dad. It is amazing when your parents and grandparents are gone how little you knew about them before you came along. We just had some of my mom's 8 mm tapes from the 1950s and 1960s converted and I know about 10% of the people on the video. It kills me that I have no idea who all these people were and my dad doesn't even know most of them.
