I personally have an intense dislike for the CB in-game experience, where there's little discussion and mostly just reactions to the game. In that sense, CB chat was perfect, and other message board formats where it's just a "game thread" work better for me. They're closer to the idea of a chat where everyone is just posting and reacting in the moment rather than having multi-response discussions.

I think they're also more fun after the fact as a sort of post mortem where you can reread the thread and follow the ebbs and flows of what happened. I never go back to game "sections" of CB as it's just 1,000 standalone posts in page after page format.
