complaints I’ve seen on the internet that the pacing has been weird this season. I thought the first four episodes were great, but not really living up to the promises that were implied with Mark undergoing reintegration threw things off, and having the Gemma flashback episode and Cobel episode back-to-back wasn’t great for pacing either. The season got off to a really hot start, and while I still liked episodes 5-8, things slowed down where they were supposed to speed up.

Again, I still really like the show and expect the season finale to be the best episode of the season, but the pacing has been weird. Maybe when the season (or show) is over we’ll look back at this post and the way they structured the season will all make sense.
