I use Vivobarefoot shoes, and I love them. Almost went with Xero, though.
For hiking and stuff outside during the summer I have a pair of Bedrock sandals that I LOVE.
Definitely only if you are into minimalist shoes (see RSL comment), not zero drop. There's definitely a jump between those two standards.
