PER and Win shares/48 are interesting though. As Durant gets older his numbers will likely drop. It is at least part of the reason that Jokic leads in so many of those right now, he hasn't experienced the last few years of his career when he won't be as good.
But knowing all that and knowing Durant has played 25% more career than Bird already and owns less titles and significantly less MVPs is pretty telling. Bird's peak is probably #3 all-time behind Jordan and Lebron. Titles and MVPs.
If you were to ask me what would happen if Larry Bird was on those Thunder teams instead of Durant I would tell you I think they win at least two titles.
