since high school in the 80s. I still remember my mom taking me to the HS field where I had a contact stripped out of my eye during a JV game (on a TD catch btw!). we are out there in the endzone with flashlights. LOL. I kept telling her if we even found it, it would be dried out and useless but back then those were not cheap to replace.

If I were staring contacts in my 50's I would definitely go with dailies.
