Depends on where the tear is. There is a red section and a white section. The
Red section is more blood rich and can actually heal. If the tear is in the white, less blood rich area, then it won’t heal but you still may be fine without surgery. I talked a lot with the orthopedic surgeon about it. This was his explanation.
