Essential hypertension is the most common cause of
Hypertension and there is no identifiable cause. Really healthy people can have high BP. Now that doesn't mean there aren't things they can do because BP can be high for a lot of reasons.

Genetics. I have generally good lab work. Blood pressure is always a bit high. I don’t worry about it.
