Some have already forgotten BYU finished 5th in the WCC just 2 seasons ago.
That was in Pope's 4th season as BYU's head coach, and 8th as a college basketball head coach overall.
I'm grateful for all that Pope accomplished at BYU during his time, and there were some great wins and seasons, but there were also tough losses, even seasons.
CBers need to stop panicking just because Kevin Young doesn't have BYU in Final Four form less than 12 months into the job.
