It may be due to injury, but by the #s, Hall's play is simply awful this year:
Hall is averaging 7.0 ppg right now, which ranks as 7th on the team, despite being 2nd on the team in minutes. That's lower than his freshman year (7.3 ppg) and sophomore year (9.0 ppg).

To make matters worse, Hall's efficiency has been abysmal. He is shooting 37.9% from the field right now. The only other player out of our top 10 in the rotation shooting below 40% from the field is Boskovic. And Hall is shooting 34.2% from 3, which isn't bad on the surface, but is worse than Knell (44.1%), Saunders (39.7%), Mag (37.5%), and Baker (36.7%).

And the argument that Hall "runs the offense" isn't supported either by the numbers or the eye test. Hall is averaging 3.8 assists per game to 1.8 turnovers per game, barely above a 2.0 ratio, which simply isn't good enough for a point guard, especially one who is not a scoring threat. Then when you actually watch the games, Hall likes to hold the ball and survey the defense before making a decision, but that just gives the defense time to reset their rotations.
