Anyone who denies that is lying in their teeth. How many BYU players have you seen in ads, etc., compared to the number of players receiving NIL money? I personally have seen two.

Second, I think it's going to destroy college sports. Consequently, I wouldn't give a dime to NIL though I am a Legacy member of the CC. I also doubt that most of the players making good money take anything but the easiest classes and majors they can find, because their REAL job, their sport, is what they MUST concentrate on. Everything else is secondary at best. Therefore, the "student" part of "student-athlete" is basically a sham.
