Baker and Knell are paired a lot. Sometimes with Hall. It’s just not enough defense and rebounding. Add in that Hall is really struggling to handle the ball and create reliably and that Baker/Knell aren’t delivering enough consistent O to off set the weaknesses the opposition is successfully exploiting.
It’s a tough deal because all three are very capable players who have all proven their worth.
But among our myriad problems this year, some of the player combos just are not working. I’m starting to wonder how many of our issues can really be fixed at this stage, but optimizing minutes and player combos seems one very controllable area.
