It feels like all build and no payoff. We still don't know what the restaurant review says. So we don't know if Carmen will get to keep the restaurant. We don't know what will happen with Claire. We don't know if Richie and Carmy will get through their crap. We don't know what choice Sydney will make about where she wants to continue her career. We don't know ANYTHING!
I suppose if the season finale would have felt really forced if everything was tied up with a bow on it and everything worked out perfectly. It wouldn't be The Bear. But I would have been OK learning some of the developments in the finale, even if they all weren't the happy ending. But I suppose that's not how you create anticipation for the next season.
Thoughts? (Oh, and in case there is internet scuttlebutt out there about how these things get resolved, I don't want to know it — I want to wait to watch the episodes when they drop)
