I love being a fan of BYU in all sports, and it’s been a wild ride for the past 40+ years. I’m up there with the best of them at freaking out when things aren’t going well during a game or a season, so I think I and many of the rest of us could do a better job of just enjoying the ride. These coaches and players are doing their best and want to win. Things don’t always go their way, and that’s okay.

AND!

I think many of us could also do a better job at not jumping down the throats of those who need to vent a little bit on CB or are discouraged because our team isn’t performing to its own expectations. That’s part of being a fan also. CB would be a lot better place if the “holier than thou” people who supposedly never freak out and always have good perspective would show more grace and perspective on here. So there’s room for us to grow on both sides. I know I, personally, and guilty as charged on both sides of this at times. So I’m committing to do better.
