I think you might be looking at job security the wrong way - yes; the job will always be there with tenure but sounds like a very limiting job personally and miserable factor is high - doesn't like admin, unmotivated and draining coworkers, and unfulfilling challenges with her skill could lead to dark places
The private practice with ownership opportunities and ability to shape her practice into a niche she is passionate about? And to continue to train the next generation? Not to mention that KY is beautiful. With an instant $100k raise and potential to 2-3X in a few years? Seems like a no brainer to me.
