What I see for the O is Arod wants to get a lead and then shorten the game by
Running down the clock. One of the stats Wrubel mentioned is that BYU was undefeated when scoring first and when having a lead at the half.
When you have a good D, it's a sound strategy. But it results in games that are close at times and the perception that BYU "barely won".
