Explaining the difference between spiritual and intellectual knowledge and the importance of having empathy and understanding for people who have different beliefs, even if there beliefs are completely different - and why you can be a scientist and believe in evolution but still be a faithful member if the church and believe we were created in the image of God...
It was an unexpected time for that to come up, but I hope it was helpful to him in the future.
I didn't help put any toys together last night, but at this phase in life it seems I'm helping make sense of it all.
And I'm glad, because yesterday we spent all day slaving over meal prep for Christmas Eve dinner, I was very ready to sleep by the time we got home.
