I always have loved bowl games. Looking forward to the Alamo Bowl.
It's fun to see teams play that usually don't. Over the last two decades too many bowls were added – mostly to accommodate conferences that didn't have links to the post season.
I'm good with bowls during the holidays.

Almost? Absolutely. They are glorified exhibition games. Basically meaningless. Just tradition at this point.

To be fair, pre playoffs they mattered more. Though most of them were mainly meaningless.

I agree. Which is why if I could go back in time I’d prevent the bowl system from developing.

Been that way for a while. This year has been much more fun. Having a chance to make the playoff, being in a conference.
