Utahs biggest NIL donors so far are a group of guys whose combined net worth is in the hundreds of millions. Its been recently reported by Hans and others the the BYU collective has a fund that matches the net worth of the most prominent Utah donors.
The biggest problem however is that Utah is also dealing with unreasonable expectations from a few of these guys. They are completely out of control and using their NIL funding as a bargaining chip to demand changes. That is a state of the program issue. Tanuvasa didnt suddenly get a big money offer this week and hit the portal. Hes had those offers for a while. What I believe changed is Utah's ability to start meeting expectations of their players. This also explains why 2 other transfers were just released from their LOIs within the last week.
