Sometimes I don't understand what a QB hopes to accomplish with a certain throw.
His target was fully covered with a defender both directly in front and directly behind. At best, the only thing he could have hoped for on that throw was an incompletion. If that's your best hoped for outcome, what are you doing putting the ball up for grabs?
