They're competitive, don't get me wrong—ultra competitive people who have always been among the best at everything, and want to win more than anything.

But they're also friends. They grew up playing against the guys who went to the other schools. If they're Polynesian, there definitely related to people on the other teams (or their coaching staffs). They go to the same parties, attend each other's weddings, and are in group chats with each other.
