If the JC eligibility thing stands, soon we’ll see JCs founded just for sports
Think of IMG Academy or even Utah Prep where Dybantsa plays. The model of establishing charter schools for the purpose of athletic development will extend to junior college.

Guys who are under recruited or new to the sport will go to these JCs and these institutions will become essentially farm systems.

P4 coaching staffs will have under-the-table agreements with local JC staffs to house all the guys that would have been preferred walk-on under the previous system.

It’s ironic that every one of the “player empowerment” changes of the 5-10 have only served to further corporatize the sport. This new JC ruling will be utilized heavily.
