Mine is for an autoimmune disease that has a very poor prognosis without treatment, but the therapies for B-cell abnormalities (cancer or autoimmune diseases, which are often identical treatments) have come a long way in the last decade and are really effective. I just had my final infusion today and honestly feel better than before I started.
