And not a single one of them needed Lincoln Riley but Riley certainly needed them. You don’t get to coach a great
athlete and pretend that you just happened to know something unique about the game that allowed those uniquely gifted players to flourish and had you not been there they wouldn’t have succeeded. That would be not only foolish but world class arrogance.

But let’s presume that Lincoln Riley was in fact responsible for their successes — so why have all other QBs he worked with not had the same level of success? Does Lincoln just pick and choose who he uses the good knowledge and secrets of the game on?
