I don't owe a penny to a soul. It's amazing how quickly the rest of the financial puzzle pieces just seemed to fall into place after I reached zero debt. I don't mean to brag, but I now own a debt-free flat in Scotland where I vacation frequently, and I'm strongly considering retiring in a few years at 55.
