We used it when we went to Tibet. The first couple of days, while we were
getting used to the elevation (Lhasa is at 12k ft), our younger kids would get tired after walking very short distances, especially uphill or climbing stairs, so they would take a few puffs from these types of bottles and then keep going.

After a few days they didn’t need them any more, but they were helpful at first. And I carried one in my backpack wherever we went, the entire trip.
