There's been a lot of recruit grade inflation over the years (and smaller classes inherently have a higher average) which makes our overall average higher, but this is not a banner year for recruiting.

That's not to say the ratings are always right (on average, they're great, but there's obviously exceptions), and Jay Hill has shown great ability to ID under the radar types, but from a statistical perspective, this wasn't a great year, particularly lacking in top end talent
