I don't disagree. This was actually an event by one of our big vendors, so mostly an excuse for people from
my company to eat a lot of free food and drink a lot of free booze. But I was only there to make an appearance and schmooze a bit. I was home by 8:15, succeeding in my quest to suck up to some folks and make Steve feel like a loser.
