I am all for depth, but we have the type of players you are discussing already on the roster.
* Starting point guard - Dallin Hall is a a starting point guard. Yes, we have Demin for this season, but Hall will be an experienced senior next year and just fine running the team. He is a Big 12-level point guard. There was a reason teams like Duke and Creighton looked hard at him when he was in the portal. He will just get better under Kevin Young over this year and next. In addition, you have Crawford already on the roster, who is athletic, competitive, and just needs lots of experience. You don't need to recruit over him. He's a player with good potential in this position and you're already bringing him along this year.
* A 4 who can shoot - This is why Boskovic is on the roster. Again, I don't mind depth, but you are paying this kid . . . to be a 4 who can shoot. He obviously has basketball skills. What he needs over this next year are to develop consistency and regular contributions, but his minutes will be limited for now. We have a bit of a crowd ahead of him. Also, Kozlowski can play the 4 and can shoot the lights out. I don't know that we need to try and recruit over those two guys - give them coaching and time and let them develop.
