I think it needs to be reminded that NIL is coming from companies and individuals outside of BYU and the church.

The church would never pay for a player with that amount of money. But they couldn’t stop me an individual, if I was a billionaire, going straight to AJ’s dad and telling him he will get 5 million if he plays for BYU.
