In fact, I'll take that about any year.

Eventually gotta let go of the losses. It's tough to win them all.

Missed FG in '79 to miss an undefeated season.
Close loss in '83 to Baylor with Steve Young, to miss going 12-0

Loss on a slippery field in '96 to go miss 15-0.

One yard from beating CC and undefeated.

Those were all great seasons that just missed being undefeated.

There's no "could have easily won". The other team has talent and are working hard too. And the ball sometimes just doesn't bounce (off a helmet) your way.

There's reason for 1 undefeated season in 100 years. It's hard to do.

This year is fantastic.
