that’s crazy as Clemson just beat SMU. But, I could see SMU still seeded and ranked ahead of Clemson due to all these “data points” the committee keeps taking about. SMU was nine spots higher than Clemson before yesterday. They lost by a last-second FG. SMU had only one loss to a Top 20 team heading into Saturday. Clemson had three losses.
It actually would make sense to still have SMU ahead of Clemson in the ranking . . . the same way SMU was ranked ahead of BYU . . . I think even when BYU was still undefeated.
