Gundy has kept sticking his foot in his mouth this year. Can you imagine any other high profile job where a person justifies drunk driving, by stating they drive drunk sometimes, keeping that high profile job? And that is before, because fans complained about how the team was playing this year, he called complaining fans poor (working at meaningless jobs that don't pay) and disappointments.

Gundy would have survived the bad season just fine if he hadn't have had the massive PR blunders he made this last year. Instead, the big issue is that he is seen as a negative PR wise, I suspect (particularly with the drunk driving comments) he's having issues with recruiting. Gundy largely did this to himself.

I agree he is a great coach but question how good a job he can get when he's been a PR nightmare.
