From my experience I feel like programs outside of BYU and Utah don’t always exactly honor mission arrangements with offers. 2 years is a lot of development time they lose. Also a lot of NIL money at this point too.

Plus Oregon will always offer the moon to recruits because they can. I feel like these teams offer these players hoping they don’t leave on a mission or talk them out of it. I can’t imagine Oregon would honor the offer after mission. I don’t know how true that is.

Plus Suamataia came home from the Ducks to play so I could easily see the same here.
