Probably not a good year for BYU fans to be ‘big timing’ BSU… even in an
indirect, passive-aggressive way, as lowly G5 schools.
It’s clear that the B12 is closer to G5 level than P2 in the eyes of non-B12 fans and a certain committee.
And the only way that the B12 will improve this perception is to demonstrated it on the field against P2 opponents — something that BYU will very likely not be doing this post season because it failed to make the CCG/CFB tourney and because the powers that be will do everything to have B12/former P12 teams play each and not match up against P2 teams.
