This would be an interesting approach. To actually come out and refuse to play
them in any sport. If anything I would be for it and would be all in on a true playoffs for football. But how would March Madness and other tournaments go?
It would be interesting to know the true numbers behind such a move. Numbers like actual alumni, tv data, projected money, etc.
