The Reformation looks entirely different if 'England' doesn't exist. For better
or worse.
Now would the Vikings have destroyed the Catholic church? No. But would the English reformation have happened? Obviously not if England was ruled by Pagan Dane warlords.
It would have certainly altered English Christianity (and particularly the future American version of Christianity that gave rise to the Restoration).
