That's stupid. The bigger issue for batted balls is defensive penetration, not
his release. That is why Utah had several batted passes. The offensive line struggled from Utah on with defensive penetration probably due to injuries.
Probably more important is for the offensive line to prevent the penetration and for Jake to recognize when to pull the pass down, pump, or roll out instead of throwing it through the defender.
