I switched from an inkjet to Brother Laser 5+ years ago and love mine.
Its B&W but I don't often need color printing these days (seems like I did more often when I had young kids).
Mine is one of the MFC line (multifunction printer/scanner/fax). MFC-L2710DW — but my guess is that the models have changed since then.
