Bummer if true. That's where guys (mostly) go and disappear.
I have to give DeChambeau credit - he seems like the only guy who is still somewhat in the spotlight, and it takes extra work on his part of make that happen (see his recent hole in one challenge that went viral). Guys like Rahm and Cam Smith (he was really at the top of the game when he left) just don't show up like they used to in the majors, and then you have guys like Dustin Johnson who have just vanished it seems. It's my opinion, probably not a popular one, that Tony feels like he has accomplished what he wanted to do in his professional golf career, and now he's setting up his family for a long time. Not sure he's really into the grind anyway, which is 100% his choice. So if you felt content with where your career has gone, you aren't interested in grinding to compete against some of the young guys coming out who put 100% of their time into golf, AND you can set your family up for generations - why not do it?
