You really ought to coach a group of you men or young women at some sort of level above city league/ jr Jazz type sports, something that requires practice schemes/plays and development and see how it all goes.
Kids go absolutely haywire sometimes in game situations. Well laid plans, things you’ve practiced hundreds of times seem to go out the window and things that have never work just click and people play above themselves sometimes.
There’s a lot less control than you feel should be there. It’s like life, it’s just different. I know they’re getting paid but they’re only semi pro and many of them are teenagers and almost all are under 25. They’re still developing, it’s not like the Pros.
I get it. I know it hurts. You make sacrifices too as a fan. But it’ll get better with time. You’ll get there. Perspective is super hard.
