I've read Peter Attia, as well as the research against meat.
As I said, some balance is in order imo. Attia is correct that we need to take in protein, and build muscle mass while in our middle ages. However it's appears to also be true that meat, red meat in particular, increases other risk factors significantly. So everyone needs to find the balance they are comfortable with.
