Too much hype for a musical that I enjoyed but was likewise over hyped in my opinion. I had it solidly behind Hamilton and Les Misérables, but people describe Wicked like it’s a religious experience.

Plus, I’m comparing it with the expansion of The Hobbit, which should have been one outstanding movie, into a completely forgettable money grab trilogy.

They’ll get six bucks from me eventually as I watch it comfortably from home
