I usually recommend West Coast transplants considering SLC to try Boise instead.
They might be happier with a SLC-esque vibe but without all those pesky Mormons and the liquor laws they’ll inevitably complain about.
ID is also trying a bit less hard than UT is to become East California, which is important to many of the refugees.
