Just got back from game. Didn’t love the ending obviously but was a great game
to watch.

Great fight by our guys. Having only 14 TOs including OT with the style of defense and pressure they brought ALL game was decent.

Was very frustrating how physical/mugging they allowed Ole Miss to guard us and not keep it in check a bit. Juju Murray is an amazing guard. Great scorer, passer and takes great care of the ball. Also has a knack for drawing fouls (even when there really isn’t one). Ole Miss is flat out a great, well rounded team. Wouldn’t surprise me at all to see them in the tourney up to last 1-2 weekends. They are well coached (as much as I don’t care for Chris Beard) and very experienced. Really don’t see any weaknesses for them.

As far as BYU, Fouss was a dawg. His block and poster dunk were so good. They had no answer for him and had no choice but to start doubling down on him.

Catchings has amazing athleticism, soft touch, and a huge upside. Still pretty raw and got rattled a couple times.

Demin started a tad slow but kept getting better as game went on. He is a great player and has incredible vision and composure. As he continues to improve his shooting, not hard to see why he is in the running as the #2 pick behind Flagg.

Dallin played well and seems much more at ease with pressure this year and plays solid defense. Loved his steal and dunk.

Knell was decent. Hit a couple shots and played decent defense.

Boscovic is very aggressive. Feel like he has a great upside. Like he is confident and will pull the trigger.

Baker struggled a bit but tough to gauge. Was in foul trouble and forced a couple shots.

Keita wasn’t much of a factor and actually seemed a bit timid against their bigs. Maybe injury has something to do with it.

Saunders was great the first half. Just did Richie things. Second half he forced it a few times and not sure if he was affected from ankle that bugged him earlier in the game.

Even with a loss, I have a lot of excitement for the future after seeing them go toe to toe with a team like Ole Miss.

Arena was nice and great to be in close proximity and see how well Cougar nation represents.

Looking forward to seeing them play again tomorrow.

Having watched the earlier game, I think Ole Miss is better than Purdue. Wish we had a crack at Purdue.
