By itself, a word is just a word. It is the intent behind using a word that really matters.
In other words, there’s a difference between using certain words to emphasize or punctuate an idea (this is what Batty was doing) and using those same words to purposefully demean, taunt, threaten, or otherwise offend others.
If you can’t tell the difference, then you belong at the kids’ table today for dinner.
